Dating back to the 1880s, the history of the estate can be traced back to Geo Armitage the first owner of the estate & later on to the Anglo-Ceylon Tea
The spacious bungalow interior has been assigned various Scottish clan colors of Tartan meterial. The bungalow consists of 3 public areas with old fire places dating back more than hundred years.
Guests may have their pick from a selection of Eastern & Western set menus served in the wood clad dining room overlooking the tea gardens. The bungalow will also have on offer selected wines & Scottish Whiskey making it a true food connoisseur’s choice amongst restaurants in Nuwara Eliya.
